Anna Collins Falk

Anna Collins-Falk is the International Coordinator and Senior Advisor at the Swedish Gender Equality Agency since its inception year, 2018. She leads the EU and UN work of the Agency and is a member of the EU-Commission DG-Just Advisory Committee on Equal Opportunities and EIGE’s Experts’ Forum. Before taking up this position, Anna was the Lead Policy Specialist on Gender at Sida Hq. She has previously served the United Nations in various senior positions including as UN Women Resident Representative and as UNDP and UNFPA Senior Policy Advisor on Gender.

An experienced policy advisor, negotiator, facilitator, speaker and trainer on a broad range of gender- and women’s rights-related topics in international fora, she has specialised in gender mainstreaming and gender budgeting.She has specialised in gender mainstreaming and gender responsible budgeting as well as gender-based violence.
