Ask Hesby Holm is the CEO of Digital Accountability, a Danish NGO and member organization dedicated to combating online violence and promoting responsible digitalization and human rights. Digital Accountability monitors tech companies and conducts research on risks and strategies for mitigating unlawful content and harmful features and functionality.
Ask has extensive experience at the intersection of analysis, law, and policy. He has led numerous studies and analyses on topics such as public debate on social media, online violence, deepfakes, recommendation algorithms, self-harm, tech companies' responsibilities, and the protection of victims of technology facilitated violations. Ask holds a bachelor’s degree in IT and a master’s degree in Political Communication and Management. Before cofounding Digital Accountability, Ask has worked with human rights and gender equality for many years.
