Caroline Ausserer works as a Policy Advisor for International Affairs at the National Council of German Women's Organizations (Deutscher Frauenrat). Her main focus is G7/G20, European, human rights and migration policy. Under the German G7 presidency in 2022, she coordinated the W7 project. She has worked as a journalist for radio, online and print, was a research assistant at the European Parliament and managed the press and public relations work for different NGOs. She is a certified diversity trainer and moderator.
She studied cultural anthropology and political science in Vienna and Granada, and holds a Master's degree in International Relations from the PUC-University in Rio de Janeiro.
Originally from Italy, before moving to Germany, she has lived in Belgium, Brazil, Austria and Spain.
