Cécile Gréboval has devoted her professional career to the promotion of gender equality and women’s rights at the European and international level.
She has been working in the Council of Europe since 2015, where she occupies the position of Senior Gender Equality Advisor. The implementation of a gender mainstreaming perspective throughout the whole Organisation, as well as files such as the roles of men and boys in the promotion of gender equality policies or the promotion of positive narratives in the context of anti-gender movements are part of her tasks.

Cécile previously worked for twenty years in the civil society sector, including as Secretary General of the European Women’s Lobby in Brussels.
She also served in different EU-level and international boards and advisory groups and as representative with the United Nations.
