Irena Ferčíková Konečná is a Senior Policy Officer at the European Sex Workers' Rights Alliance (ESWA). In her role, she is responsible for drafting policy documents, monitoring European policy developments and gathering evidence from the ground. Since 2015 she has also worked as an independent consultant and evaluator, providing services to various civil society organisations, international and intergovernmental organisations. She was a board member of La Strada International from 2010-2017. In 2015, Ms Ferčíková Konečná worked as a Fulbright Research Fellow at the US non-profit organisation Polaris. Previously (2008-2014), she was the Director of La Strada Czech Republic, an NGO providing services to victims of human trafficking.
