Uzoamaka Asiegbu is a Gender and Disability Inclusion Specialist focused on inclusive representation and the intersections of disabilities. With a Master’s degree in Women’s and Gender Studies from two European universities, her work on gender and diversities earned her a nomination as a 2023 Young Woman of Europe Award in the Women of Europe Awards and an award on Women’s Empowerment and Gender from UN Volunteers in Nigeria. Along with her career working with international organizations like the UN, Uzoamaka’s personal commitments include providing diversity inclusion consultations with entities dedicated to promoting an inclusive culture, employment skills training for youths with disabilities through her organisation, Write Hand Hub, and creative stories featuring full representation of women with disabilities. Uzoamaka is a Nigerian currently living in Geneva.
