My name is Ștefania Pavel, I am 19 years old and I am studying Political Science in Bucharest.

I am currently working towards developing my area of expertise in gender studies, following an intersectional approach, and I am also passionate about social research. In order to gain practical experience, besides my academic journey, I am volunteering for a feminist organization based in Romania (Feminism România) and for a queer organization (MozaiQ LGBT), alongside working on a research project about social inequalities in the educational system in Romania.Art is another passion of mine, which I consider to be tied to politics, so I write poetry that is a reflection of what it feels like to be a queer woman in an oppressive patriarchal system.
