Kosovo* is a potential candidate for EU membership. The Stabilisation and Association Agreement between the EU and Kosovo entered into force in 2016.
EIGE has been working with Kosovo to build their capacity in gender equality since 2013. EIGE has collected data on women and men in decision-making positions in Kosovo since 2018.
The European Commission funds the cooperation under the Instrument for Pre-accession Assistance (IPA).
