Data collected by Member States and EU institutions does not always reflect the different realities of women and men in all their diversity. For more targeted policies that improve the lives of all women and men, in this panel we will discuss how we can further address gaps in collecting and analysing data on gender inequalities in intersection with other grounds. We will hear about promising practices from different organisations, their research initiatives and how these could complement data collection and analyses done by EIGE and other EU institutions. We will also discuss successful examples of targeted measures and policies based on this data. This panel builds on the outcomes of the 2022 Forum and the work undertaken since then by EIGE and other partners.
