This workshop led by Women against Violence Europe network (WAVE) focuses on the prevention of gender-based violence against women and girls (GBV). With insights from the work of WAVE's Belgium member, Garance, and WAVE Youth Ambassadors program, we will explore how transforming societal norms and behaviours is key to stopping GBV against women before it starts. The workshop will use interactive activities, presentations, and group discussions and encourage participants to engage in intergenerational dialogue. The aim is to enhance the understanding of primary prevention strategies and equip participants with skills to address violence in real-life situations.
