This tool will help you understand gender impacts: what they are and how to examine your intervention for them. When you identify an impact on gender equality in your intervention, you will have to carry out further analysis.

This tool consists of three steps:

1. understanding gender impacts,
2. knowing when to analyse gender impacts in your evaluation,
3. how to move forward with a gender-responsive evaluation.
